Turtle Comic

A children's comic strip featuring a red-eyed slider turtle named Caipirinha. The comic shows Caipirinha eating green lettuce, sleeping, meeting new people, biting them, and eventually getting hit on the head by a falling object. The turtle's interactions and daily activities are depicted throughout.
A hand-drawn comic strip featuring a fish tank with a fish and a green monster. The fish is attacked, fights back, and retreats, with the water splashing and bubbles. The comic ends with the fish swimming away and feeling victorious.

The Project

A mini solo project for a digital storytelling class. I was tasked to write an interactive comic, using a mobile app, and challenged to write as little as possible. the focus of the project was to convey the story through the panels and art. I chose the Sunday routine my turtle experiences when I clean its tank, with a fantastical narration from the point of view of my turtle, to tell a succinct but entertaining story. I then revised the comic after feedback from my professor.
