The Project
A world-building project for fun that centers around the world of Hollowish:
Thousands of years ago a large meteor shower destroyed the large, pan-planet continent that once was home to terrifying monsters. Over the course of the next thousands of years, magical beings came to inhabit the shattered lands. Echoes of the original meteor showers still remained, rarely ever landing on the planet, yet causing the remaining remnants of the age of monsters to come alive and bring about catastrophes and ruin.
On one fateful night, 7 echoes of those original meteor showers entered the atmosphere and crash landed in several locations throughout Hollowish. One of which landed on the tiniest, shriveled pumpkin in a large patch and brought it to life. Instilled in this pumpkin was an inexplicable urge to seek out the other fallen stars. Thus the pumpkin runs into an unusual ally in the form of a mischievous cat.
The Process
As of now I’m still in the process of establishing the world through a vision board and a large assortment of notes. I’ve also nearly fleshed out the major two characters and will be working toward creating character sheets and dialogue scripts between them, whilst still fleshing out the world.
