Nothing Left Unseen
The first pitch deck.
The first trailer. I did the storyboarding and wrote the trailer. I also oversaw and directed the voice acting.
The monologue. I originally formatted it as a poem which can be found on pages 2 and 3.
TLDR:
Role: Creative / Narrative / Sound Director Genre: Puzzle-Narrative Team Size: 13 developers
Time: 17 weeks (7 weeks in) Software: Unity
The Project
The in-development junior project I am creative director for. A 4 level puzzle-adventure game with a heavy narrative focus. We are a team of 13 people and are limited to a 17 week time frame to create a fully realized, short game.
My Role
I am Creative Director in a class environment made to mimic a studio.
I originally was part of a smaller group as the game and narrative designer, working on a prototype to present as a concept for the junior project.
After voting with the entire team, my smaller team’s concept was chosen and I was appointed creative director to oversee the entire creative process.
I designed the original mechanics of the game during the prototype portion and collaboratively expanded on it with the mechanics director, who then refined them.
I created the fully realized narrative of the game, and wrote and implemented half of the dialogue and in-game text. I created initial concepts for characters directed their development.
I directed the sound and music creation and implemented all sounds of the game.
